IMPORTANT INFORMATION
To enter St. Pierre and Miquelon please note that due to international travel all American passengers are required to have a passport, Canadian passengers are required to have a passport or driver's licence with picture or government issued ID with picture AND a birth certificate.
GENERAL INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
Meals, items of a personal nature, transportation between the ferry terminal and airport to Hotel or any optional excursion of the island. If the departure of the ferry or plane is delayed because of weather, some establishments may charge for additional nights accommodation. Such extra charges are the responsibility of the client and not of St. Pierre Tours Ltd.
Notice of cancellation must be given in writing. Cancellations received 45 days or more prior to departure will permit full refund. Cancellations received less than 45 days before departure are subject to a $50.00 cancellation fee per person. Those received up to seven days prior to departure - $75.00 cancellation fee per person. Cancellation insurance is highly recommended.
Your authorization to use your credit card number for deposits, and/or final payments indicates your compliance with our booking terms and conditions, whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate draft. Verbal authorization of your credit card confirms your reservation.
St. Pierre Tours Ltd. acts only as an agent for the traveller in regard to travel arrangements and therefore, neither it nor its agents shall be held liable for, in any way, any loss, damage, act, delay or accident due to any default on the part of any person or company engaged in these tours. The right is reserved to withdraw a tour or make alterations in the itinerary, to substitute hotels, cancel or substitute ferries and ferry crossings specified as deemed necessary by St. Pierre Tours Ltd. Although tour membership will be granted to all persons, St. Pierre Tours Ltd. reserves the right to terminate the tour of any person who is objectionable to other passengers or who disrupts the efficient operation of the tour. Our prices include only one piece of luggage per person, carried at the owner's risk. Therefore, insurance is recommended.
Being a part of France, there is a requirement for Immigration/Customs inspection both in St. Pierre and on your return to Canada. St. Pierre Immigration requires for Canadian citizens a passport, government issued photo ID or driver's licence with a picture. American and EU citizens require a passport. Visas are not required for citizens of Canada, United States, or EU countries if your stay does not exceed thirty days. Other nationalities please check with the nearest French Embassy or Consulate.
It is the personal responsibility of all travellers to have in their possession before leaving Canada the correct documentation for both their journey to St. Pierre and their return to Canada. St. Pierre Tours Ltd. cannot be responsible in the event that a traveller is considered by the receiving country to be an undesirable visitor, whether or not the traveller's documents are in order and in such an event any costs associated with an early return to the departing point or detainment will be at the traveller's expense. Under these circumstances it is the carrier's final decision to refuse passage. No refund of unused ticket or portion of it will be permitted.
